Doors open again at Roy Morgan Research
No early holiday for Roy Morgan staff!
Melbourne staff at Roy Morgan Research are happy to be back at their desks in 401 Collins St this morning after a crazy situation over the weekend that saw the locks on the office building changed and security guards put on all doors.
In a special hearing at the Supreme Court this morning, Justice Croft criticised Impact Investment Groups’ decision to lock Roy Morgan Research out while a separate legal case was on foot before the Court, and ordered the doors to be opened again immediately.
An ongoing commercial dispute between Roy Morgan Research and Impact Investment Group, already before the Supreme Court, has been set for trial in February.
Michele Levine said:
“I’ve never seen our people so pleased to come to work.
“We have a great team of fiercely loyal people who are all eager to help when someone threatens our company”.
The commercial dispute will take its natural course next year, meanwhile we wish everyone a great Christmas and a relaxing break.
