Reaction to Malaysian DCA director-general’s Statement

Media release (16Feb16): MH370: China Families React Strongly to Malaysian DCA director-general’s Statement

We, families of China of the missing of MH370, react with extreme displeasure and annoyance to the Malaysian DCA director-general’s* statement that we should wait until June-July and then decide what to do next.

Instead, we point to the following explanation for the fiasco, which has wrongly been dubbed a mystery.

Inmarsat and the Malaysian authorities were originally genuine in their belief that MH370 followed a path into the SIO. However, when it was shown to them that their derivation was faulty, instead of admitting they were wrong and really had no idea where MH370 was, they manufactured both data and method to justify their original announcement.

The world has been misled into a delay of almost two years.

We reaffirm our statement that amnesty be offered so that, if they are still alive, they may be returned without delay.

We call on all representative nations to endorse this offer.

* DCA director-general Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman
