PLO Executive Committee Member Dr. Hanan Ashrawi condemns the terrorist attack in Egypt
RAMALLAH, PALESTINE (May 26, 2017) -- “On behalf of the Palestinian leadership and the people of Palestine, we strongly condemn today’s terrorist attack in which more than twenty Coptic Christians, many of them children, were killed, and dozens more were injured who were traveling to the Saint Samuel Monastery in the Minya province in Egypt.
We are deeply saddened and horrified by such a tragic and heartbreaking incident, and our thoughts and sympathies go out to the victims, their families and the Egyptian people.
Terrorism knows no religion or borders and violates all human, ethical and spiritual values. We call on all governments and people of conscience worldwide to stand together in solidarity against all acts of terrorism and injustice against innocent civilians.”
