Five Eyes governments respond to coalition demands to stop undermining encryption
This summer, a five-nation
coalition of rights groups asked leaders in the "Five Eyes"
surveillance partnership -- Australia, Canada, New Zealand,
the United Kingdom, and the United States -- to disavow any
and all plans to mandate deliberate security vulnerabilities
in our technology, systems, and infrastructure. Officials
