Winners Of The 2025 ANZIIF Insurance Awards Announced

21 August

More than 850 insurance professionals gathered at The Star Event Centre in Sydney tonight for the 21st Australian Insurance Industry Awards, hosted by the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF), to celebrate the winners of the 2025 Awards and recognise outstanding service and professionalism across the sector.

Hosted by TV personality Osher Günsberg, the evening was a spectacular celebration of the industry’s resilience and innovation. Guests were treated to a breathtaking aerial display by Leo Pentland and a powerful performance from proud Gamilaraay man and multimedia artist Mitch Tambo, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and unity.

Honouring Industry Icons

The highest honours of the evening, the Lifetime Achiever Awards, were presented to two iconic industry leaders:

  • Robert Kelly AM, Co-founder and CEO of Steadfast, recognised for his visionary leadership and tireless commitment to strengthening the broking community.
  • Ian Carr, Founder of Insurance Advisernet, honoured for his pioneering spirit and dedication to building one of Australia's most successful broker networks.

Both leaders were recognised for their enduring impact on the broking profession and their role in shaping today’s insurance landscape.

Recognising Industry Excellence
