The Palestinian Ministry Of Health - Gaza Condemns The Israeli Occupation Forces

The Palestinian Ministry of Health - Gaza condemns in the strongest terms the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces by directly targeting Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis this morning, the only functioning public hospital in the southern Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces' targeting of the hospital today and the killing of medical, journalistic, and civil defense personnel is a continuation of the systematic destruction of the health system and the continuation of genocide. It is a message of defiance to the entire world and to all values of humanity and justice.

The initial death toll has reached 20 martyrs among medical personnel, patients, journalistic personnel, and civil defense personnel, in addition to dozens of injuries. The bombing has caused panic and chaos, disrupted operations in the operating room, and deprived patients and the wounded of their right to treatment.

The Ministry of Health issues a distress call to protect what remains of health services and calls on the international community and all concerned institutions to take immediate and urgent action to protect humanitarian personnel in Gaza.

The international silence and lack of real action to curb the occupation and halt its crimes constitutes a genuine partnership and a declaration that this crime continues.
