700 Days Of War On Gaza
By Dr Nasim Hmeda
I am an orthopedic surgeon, living each day among an endless stream of wounded, and displaced families who now sleep on the hospital floor after the wards ran out of beds.
The elevator is broken, the air conditioning has stopped, fuel is running out, and surgical tools are dwindling.

The injured keep piling up, and the waiting lists for surgery stretch endlessly.
And yet… we are still here.
We operate under lights that may go dark at any moment, we mend what can be saved, and we amputate what cannot wait.
We are fighting on the frontlines of life—so that this war does not defeat our humanity.
