FIANZ Statement On The Bondi Tragedy
The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand (FIANZ) unequivocally condemns the horrific terror tragedy that has taken place at a Chanukah event in Bondi Beach, Sydney.
Such acts of violence on religious occasions are abhorrent and need to be condemned. As a community that has endured a similar act of terror, we are acutely aware of the profound and ongoing trauma.
FIANZ extends its deepest condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives, to those injured, and to the Jewish community during this time of immense grief.
