The Global Sumud Land Convoy Advances Overland Toward Rafah

A United Growing International Mobilisation To Break The Siege In Gaza And Stand With Palestine

Zliten, Libya – As our fleet sails toward Gaza, the Global Sumud Land Convoy is making its way overland toward Rafah; two people-led mobilisations united by a shared commitment to break the siege, deliver solidarity, and stand alongside the Palestinian people.

The Global Sumud Land Convoy, an international humanitarian mission carrying life-saving aid to Gaza, set out from Libya on 15 May, Nakba Day, as a deliberate act of solidarity and remembrance.

The convoy comprises more than 30 vehicles, including ambulances and trucks loaded with medical supplies, and carries over 200 participants from more than 25 countries across six continents.

This moment is part of a wider global responsibility. Civil society cannot remain silent while a people continue to endure siege and displacement by the israel regime. The struggle for Palestine is a struggle for justice everywhere.

From the sea to the land, this mobilisation carries one united message: Gaza is not alone.
