Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast valid to midnight tonight:

The north and west of the North Island from Northland to Wellington, also for the central high country and Bay of Plenty: Showers and fine periods.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: A few showers clearing this morning then fine.

Nelson and the South Island west coast: Showers then clearing from central Westland southwards this morning.

Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago and Southland: A mix of cloudy and fine periods inland. Areas of fog likely about coastal areas this morning. A few showers continuing about Northern Marlborough.

Chatham Islands: Rain at times.
