Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast valid to midnight tonight:

The north and west of the North Island from Northland to Manawatu,
also for the central plateau and Bay of Plenty: Mainly fine
weather. A few cloudy areas about Wanganui and Manawatu this
morning.

Gisborne to Wairarapa, also Wellington, Cloudy with light showers
continuing. Fine spells becoming more frequent from Napier south.

Kaikoura Coast and Canterbury: Drizzly showers for a time this
morning then gradually becoming fine.

Nelson, inland Marlborough, also for the South Island west coast:
Fine, bright and clear.

Otago and Southland: Mainly fine inland. Cloud and remaining
showers clearing from the south coast and Stewart Island.

Chatham Islands: Showers.
