Gisborne to Wairarapa, also Wellington, Cloudy with light showers Continuing today. Fine spells becoming more frequent from Napier south. Tomorrow, Mainly fine apart from cloudy periods about the Wairarapa coast.
Kaikoura Coast and Canterbury: Drizzly showers north of Banks Peninsula clearing today. Mainly fine elsewhere. Tomorrow mainly fine.
Nelson, inland Marlborough, also for the South Island west coast: Fine weather.
Otago and Southland: Mainly fine inland. Cloud and remaining showers clearing from the south coast and Stewart Island today. Fine and frosty tomorrow.
Chatham Islands: Showers today. Cloud and fine breaks tomorrow.
