Short forecast issued by Weather Workshop, valid to midnight tomorrow.

From Northland to Coromandel Peninsula: Cloudy periods. A few light showers in the east becoming more widespread tomorrow.

Waikato down to Wellington, also for the central high country: Fine for the remainder of today. Cloud increasing early tomorrow with drizzle patches later.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Cloud clearing overnight about Gisborne otherwise mainly fine.

Nelson: Cloud increasing overnight. Drizzle from early tomorrow.

West coast of the South Island: Cloud thickening with drizzle developing overnight. Tomorrow rain in most places then easing to showers south of the glaciers in the afternoon.

Marlborough to Otago, also for Southland: Fine today. Cloudy tomorrow with brief rain about Otago and Southland. A few falls may spread into south Canterbury also.

Chatham Islands: Cloudy periods.
