Weather Workshop: Short forecast for NZ

Short Forecast issued by Weather Workshop valid to midnight tomorrow:

Northland, Coromandel Peninsula and Bay of Plenty: Cloudy with a few showers today. Rain spreading from the west later tomorrow.

The north and west from Northland to Wellington, also for the central plateau: Cloud increasing. A few showers developing today. Tomorrow, showers turning to rain.

Gisborne to Wairarapa: Mainly fine and mild today. High cloud increasing tomorrow with patchy rain spreading east off the main ranges from time to time.

Nelson: Cloudy periods with drizzle about the ranges. A period of rain tomorrow then easing to a few showers.

South Island west coast: Heavy rain about Fiordland spreading further north during the day. Tomorrow, showery about Buller but becoming fine elsewhere.

Canterbury and Marlborough: Mild again with high cloud but rain about the Alps today. Showers and southeasterlies tomorrow.

Otago and Southland: Rain about the western ranges spreading further east. Strong gusty northwesterlies easing later. Tomorrow, cloudy in most places with drizzly rain about the coast

Chatham Islands: Long fine periods today. A few showers developing tomorrow.
