Kapiti Police Investigating Murder Of Raymond Piper, Locate What They Believe Is A Body
Kapiti Police investigating the murder of Raymond Piper have located what they believe to be a body.
Head of Operation Albacore, Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam says Police began searching an area of bush in the Maungakotukutuku Valley near Paraparaumu around 9 o'clock this morning.
"Police are at the scene recovering the body now. A post-mortem examination will be carried out tomorrow morning. We hope to then be in a position to formally identify the body."
Raymond Piper, aged 23, went missing from his home in Eatwell Avenue, Paraparaumu Beach on Saturday 15th May 2010.
