Vehicle Crash Near Murchison
Murchison Police attended a single vehicle crash at 8:00am on the 3rd of October 2010.
The crash occurred approximately 4km South of Murchison on State Highway 6.
The driver was the sole occupant of the crashed vehicle and was travelling South towards the Buller Gorge. He is a local man aged 32 years and was not wearing a seat belt.
Initial Police enquiries indicate that no other vehicles were involved; the vehicle has left the road on a moderate bend before striking a tree.
The matter has been referred to the coroner.
