Farms come through latest quake unscathed
There are no reports of damage to farms following this evening’s major earthquake in the Cook Strait. While provincial presidents in Wairarapa, Marlborough, Golden Bay and Nelson are still seeking member feedback, it seems farms have come through relatively unscathed.
Given the earthquakes, Federated Farmers urges all farmers to check their preparedness at a household, staff and farm-scale.
