Business as usual at Wellington
Hospital
Following yesterday's 6.5 magnitude
earthquake, all buildings on our Wellington, Kapiti, and
Kenepuru sites have been checked by engineering and
technical services staff, and are considered safe. All
services are operating as normal.
We would like to
acknowledge the hard work of both our clinical and technical
services staff, as well as our emergency management team,
who have worked in very unnerving conditions throughout the
weekend to ensure the buildings are safe and that our
patients continue to receive excellent care.
All
patients should attend their appointments as usual or
re-schedule them by calling the main outpatient booking
centre on (04) 806 0992, if they are concerned about
travelling through Wellington
today.
