highways closed due to surface flooding: NZ Transport Agency
media statement - update 10.30am
Due to severe flooding and slips the following roads are closed:
• SH58 from Paremata to Haywards Interchange at SH2
• Greys Road
• Paekakariki Hill Road
• SH2 between Ngauranga and Petone is closed
• SH1 between Mackays Crossing and Paremata
If you are in Wellington please stay in town and listen to radio or social media for updates.
Avoid all unnecessary travel.
People can call 0800 44 44 49 for updates and the Transport Agency’s website and social media accounts will be also updated as more information is available.
