MSD extends contact centre hours due to Christchurch tragedy
The Ministry of Social Development has extended its contact centre hours today from 8am to 8pm to provide support for people dealing with the tragic events in Christchurch.
"We are working with people to see how we can help with their immediate needs and with one off payments such as food grants, medical fees and prescriptions. We can also help with on-going needs. Please contact us if you need help," says Liz Jones, Acting Deputy Chief Executive, Service Delivery.
