Malcolm Rands celebrates book launch & 20 years of ecostore |
||
So much to celebrate! Turning 20 and the launch of Malcolm’s new ‘Ecoman’ book.
The Rands family ukulele band provided entertainment on the night. From L-R they are Melanie, Ahi and Keva with Ecoman, Malcolm rocking out on Melodica (which incidentally, he played so hard he broke).
A great discussion between Malcolm and Sir Ray Avery with our host for the evening, TV3 presenter Jane Luscombe, about the launch of ‘Ecoman’ and the challenges of formulating healthier plant-based products without the nasties. Sir Ray said his aim has been to use the least number of chemicals at the lowest concentrations to get the job done. ecostore glass cleaner for example has only three ingredients yet performs as well as the market leader.
A couple of the coolest science geeks we know. The head of our Research and Development team, Huia Iti with our lead formulator Sir Ray Avery.
Friends Nicholas Stevens and Deborah Smith (who along with her brother Mark take the iconic black and white photographs that you see on our packaging) with Ahi Rands.
Long time customers of ecostore, Gerry and Sally from the Great Ponsonby Arthotel with Ahi.
Matt and Melissa with our friends Heath and Michael from Special Group (who designed our awesome packaging).
Malcolm with Sarah and Vincent Heeringa and Te Radar.
A big thank you to our customers from everyone at ecostore for your support over the years – we wouldn’t be here without you – if you’d like a sneak preview of Malcolm’s book, take a look at his website ecoman.co.nz
