2degrees Zero Rating SMS for customers
In response to this morning’s earthquake 2degrees customers will not be charged for national SMS messages today (from 12am). We encourage people to text rather than call.
Network Status
Mobile services to Hanmer Springs and the Hutt Valley have been restored.
Kaikoura sites remain impacted as does Epuni in Wellington.
2degrees techs are working to restore services as soon as possible. Access into Kaikoura is particularly challenging however.

The following 2degrees stores will not be open for business today:
· Porirua – closed
· Johnsonville – closed
· Queensgate Mall (Lower Hutt) – closed
· Lower Hutt (store) – closed
· Lambton Quay – closed
· Customhouse Quay – closed
· Manners Street – closed
· Blenheim – closed
2degrees has deployed teams to effected areas and they are working as fast as is safely possible to restore service. Coverage has already been restored to a number of sites.
We will keep you updated.
