Vector Wellington Round the Bays Record Broken
The 2007 Vector Wellington Round the Bays has attracted the biggest field in it’s nine year history by breaking the 10,000 participant mark.
Enjoying fantastic conditions this year’s fun run walk saw an event record, eclipsing last year’s previous best of 9,700 runners and walkers.
“It has been New Zealand’s biggest Push Play event, and today it just got bigger,” said the Event Director Michael Bennington.
“It is the 9th year that Sport Wellington Region has organised the Vector Wellington Round the Bays, and it just continues to grow and develop into one of Wellingtons iconic events,” said Mr Bennington, Event Director and General Manager Sport Wellington Region.
With another successful Vector Wellington Round the Bays under our belt we look forward to planning the 2008 Vector Wellington Round the Bays.
