Waikato DHB: Interview with family of William Pike
William Pike, the 22 year old climber injured on Mt Ruapehu early today, is still in surgery and likely to be there another two hours.
His family have provided this audio interview - in the interview are Barry and Tracy Pike, their son Andrew, 18m and fellow climber Cameron Walker.
The family would like no media attention and will review this after the surgery.
