Action Against McDonald's This Weekend

Unite Union is
planning a series of strikes against McDonald's stores this
weekend - starting tonight at Manurewa, Manukau and Clendon.
Unite campaigns organiser Joe Carolan says the company owes hundreds of staff for "stolen breaks they should have received under the law and routinely missed out on.
"And because they missed their break they should have been compensated for the loss under the union contract. We estimate they owe members about $2.5 million in stolen wages across their 160 stores."
