Have Your Say On The Financial Markets (International Money Transfers) Amendment Bill
The Chairperson of the Governance and Administration Committee has called for public submissions on the Financial Markets (International Money Transfers) Amendment Bill.
The bill would amend the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 to improve transparency of fees charged on international money transfer services. It would require clearer disclosure of the total cost of a transfer, including all fees and rates, before a transaction is initiated, and allow regulations to prescribe how and where this information must be displayed.
Tell the Governance and Administration Committee what you think
