motorway closures
To complete the Shelly Beach offramp project and install new Sign Gantries in St Mary¡¦s Bay, sections of Auckland¡¦s central motorway near the Auckland Harbour Bridge, will be closed at night between 26 ¡V 28 February 2001 (weather dependent).
The planned closures are as follows:
10.30 pm Monday 26 February ¡V 5 am
Tuesday 27 February (i.e. Monday night)
„h Nelson Street
off ramp north to Curran Street onramp
„h Shelly Beach
Road off ramp south to Hobson Street onramp
„h
Wellington Street onramp and Fanshawe Street onramp (both
northbound)
10.30 pm Tuesday 27 February ¡V 5 am
Wednesday 28 February (i.e. Tuesday night)

Motorists are advised to follow the marked detours during these times. In the case of bad weather delaying the closures, they will be postponed until the next fine night.
