Protest Against Privatised Papakura Water Tuesday
PWPG Protest This Tuesday at 1.30
On August 21, Tuesday afternoon (starting 2pm), Papakura District Council's Working Party on Water Franchise Matters will have a series of meetings involving United Water, Montgomery Watson (council's consulting engineers on franchise matters), officers of Audit New Zealand and Garden Water Test Group.
Papakura Water Pressure Group will be there from 1.30pm onwards to make sure that all those attending these meetings, will know that we do not want privatised water services. The more people we have there, the bigger our impact. So get active, come along and be counted. It will only take an hour of your time. Bring as many friends as you like.
Tell everyone.
PWPG will be assisted by Auckland Water Pressure Group (complete with fire engine!), Citizens Against Privatisation Waitakere and Manukau Water Pressure Group.
Tuesday 21 August 1.30pm at Papakura Council chambers, 35 Coles Crescent, Papakura Tuesday 21 August 1.30pm at Papakura Council chambers, 35 Coles Crescent, Papakura
