Bodega Rally

Sunday September 1st 2002, 1 pm, Upper Willis Street, Te Aro.

Wellingtonians are called to assemble as the Bar that has been the home of many great culture, entertainment and music events is removed from its historic location because the owners feel that they can no longer maintain their business under the threat of demolition.

Because it is in the path of the proposed new set of traffic lights, roundabouts, relocations and demolitions of a road set to cut through Wellington's urban heart clogging the city with cars the Bodega manager feels compelled to relocate. We want to recall all the good times and hope that the Bodge will be back here soon, not just converted to another club somewhere up town,

The new spring is the great time to remember all the good times have been seen in the 'Bodge', to rally support and remind Wellington just how useless the proposed road actually is. We will begin the call to bring Bodega back to its home.

The time for action is now.

For further information contact ABA, Phil, 029 934 1223.
Ends.
