Traffic Delays Expected In Pakuranga
Manukau City Council is warning motorists using Ti Rakau Drive that roadworks scheduled for the next six weeks will cause delays for motorists.
Necessary road reconstruction and resurfacing will be undertaken near Edgewater shops southbound to Gossamer Drive (towards Botany).
Traffic lanes and speed will be restricted along
the route however all lanes will be available during peak
commuter periods (6:30am to
9:30am and 3:30pm to
6:30pm).
Manager Infrastructure and Waste, Chris Freke, says the start date was delayed to coincide with school holiday periods when traffic flow is reduced.
Mr Freke says contractors Fulton Hogan have increased resources to ensure work is completed by 31 October depending on weather.
