Manurewa Library Looks For Feedback

Manukau City Council is about to begin a pilot programme involving Manurewa Library users giving feedback on its programmes and resources.

Dena Gilmore, Libraries and Community Information Planner says that from October to June, the focus group will meet for one hour, once every two months to share ideas.

“Group members will be asked what they think about the services and resources currently being provided by the library. They will also be asked to make suggestions about possible improvements to the library service,” she says.

Refreshments will be provided and group members will be offered rewards for their participation.

“At the end of the pilot project, group members will be asked to complete an evaluation of the programme. If it is successful we may look at introducing these sessions to other Manukau libraries,” Mrs Gilmore says.

If you wish to find out more or put your name forward for the focus group please visit the Manurewa Library and complete the nomination form by 17 October 2002.
