Teens Wanted for Extreme Outdoor Adventures!
Teens Wanted for Extreme Outdoor Adventures!
Looking for something fun and exciting to do these Easter holidays? Get into outdoor action with Manukau City Council’s Manukau On The Move team.
Their one week Teen Extreme programme offers a range of outdoor adventure pursuits for 12 to 16 year olds. Running from Monday 14th to Thursday 17th April, participants can select which days they want to attend or for the really keen, attend the whole week!
Programme co-ordinator, Judith Harris, says ‘This programme will suit enthusiastic teenagers who are keen to take up the challenge of mountain biking, sea kayaking, or abseiling. A new activity is a challenging day of ultimate fun and adventure at Sonshine Ranch, which includes a flying fox and a water obstacle course."
Monday sees teens testing their skills in off-road mountain biking madness. Tuesday sees participants discovering the Auckland coastline by sea kayak and Wednesday is kiwi adventure day at Sonshine Ranch. The week finishes with abseiling and team challenges on Thursday.
All specialist equipment and qualified
instruction is provided. Pick up and drop off points are in
Howick and Papatoetoe. Cost is $40 per day or $140 for the
whole week. Extra $10 for bike hire on the mountain biking
day. Interested teens should phone 274 6904 for more
information and registration
details.
