Targeted Helicopter Operation On Tomorrow Tuesday 29

Weather conditions are looking favourable for the targeted helicopter operation planned for tomorrow - Tuesday 29 April.
The operation is expected to start at first light in the morning and weather permitting is likely to be completed within one day. Tomorrow's operation will take place in the further reduced zone, which has been cut by 1570 hectares and is now 6,500 hectares.
Two former infested sites, treated by the helicopter, have been removed from the eradication zone these are the areas known as Heron Park and Rutherford.
Ranui/Swanson will be treated on 6 May and is NOT included in this helicopter operation. The helicopter will not fly during 8am and 9.00am, 12.15pm and 1.00pm and 3.00pm and 4.00pm, the times that most children will be travelling to and from school and eating their lunch.
