No Targeted Winter Aerial
Operation Today - Friday 1 August 2003
There will be NO targeted winter aerial operation, against the painted apple moth, today, Friday 1 August 2003. The aerial operation due to take place in the 5 small winter target areas has been postponed due to wet and rainy conditions.
The current winter operation has been on hold since Tuesday due to unsettled conditions and unfavourable weather. The situation is being carefully monitored and a status update will be given later today as to a further day’s postponement or as to a decision before first light in the morning for an operation tomorrow - Saturday 2 August.
