Independence on the Auckland Energy Consumer Trust Tuesday 29 September 2003, For Immediate Release
During the last two weeks of October 2003 all those who pay a power bill in Auckland-Manukau and Papakura areas have a vote to elect 5 people to the Auckland Energy Consumer Trust.
Given the variety of bill payers/consumers who are the shareholders of this trust, independent candidate Paul RYAN says that consumers need an independent balance on the Trust. "A vote for RYAN is a vote for independence and balance" he says.
