Aerial Operation On Today – Wednesday
Aerial Operation On Today – Wednesday 29 October 2003
The delayed aerial operation against gypsy moth will get under way today at 9am this morning (Wednesday 29 October).
Today’s operation was delayed due to poor weather early in the morning and so did not get underway on time.
The operation will start at the hospital end of the treatment zone and travel north. Weather permitting the operation should take half the morning to complete.
Today (Wednesday) being a school day means the aircraft will be out of the air between 12.15-1.00pm and then again if necessary between 3.00-4.00pm – the times most children eat their lunch and travel home from school.
