Upper Hutt City Council has recently decided to seek development proposals for its 4,000 m2 business zoned site located at 827 - 845 Fergusson Drive.
Adjacent to the recently opened $5.5m Expressions Arts and Entertainment centre and in close proximity to restaurants, bars, swimming pools, library and CBD attractions, the site has a central, accessible and high profile location.
The Fergusson Drive land decision adds positivity to the commercial future off Upper Hutt in addition to the recently announced $15m Logan Plaza redevelopment, involving The Warehouse and a six screen multiplex cinema, while other developments, involving Warehouse Stationary, Pizza Hut and the Australian owned Super Cheap Autos (auto parts and accessories), have been confirmed and are under development.
Proposals involving either the purchase or lease of the property can be directed to Council for consideration by Friday 28th November 2003.
