IA Welcomes Sale Of Westhaven Marina
Statement made by
John Robertson, Chairman, Infrastructure Auckland
Infrastructure Auckland (IA), owner of 80% of the shares in
Ports of Auckland Limited (POAL), welcomes the announcement
by POAL this morning that the tender process for the
Westhaven Marina has been successfully
concluded.
Auckland’s transport and stormwater
infrastructure will benefit from anticipated dividend
payments arising from this transaction made to
Infrastructure Auckland.
This is a good outcome for all
shareholders, for the company and for the region’s urgent
need to attend to its infrastructure shortcomings.

Sam Uffindell’s defenders keep reminding us that he was only 16 at the time of the King’s College incident, and haven’t we all done things in our teens that, as adults, we look back on with shame and embarrassment?
