North Shore City makes key finance appointment April 26, 2004
North Shore City Council has appointed Dale Lott to the key new position of group manager - finance following the merger of the council's revenue and finance departments.
Mr Lott, the council's current finance manager, will take up his new role next month and lead a 45-member group. This includes financial and management accounting, funding, rates and revenue, procurement, payroll and the vehicle fleet.
He is also responsible for the production of the council's financial reporting and funding, including the annual report.
A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand , Mr Lott reports to chief financial officer, Roger Duncan.
Tom Wong Kam retires from his role of revenue manager in July following four decades in local government.
