School holiday fun at Auckland Museum
Do you know a little prince or princess who might like to walk the red carpet in a crown?
Auckland Museum is holding a ‘Prince and Princess’ workshop for all children aged 5-8 over the school holidays. Children will decorate their own crown and choose a royal costume to dress-up in for a walk along the red carpet with Indian prince Colin Mathura-Jeffree (male model and author).
The ‘Prince and Princess’ workshops are on Tuesday 21 and Sunday 26 September from 10.30 to 12pm and children should wear clothing suitable for underneath dress-ups.
Also in the school holiday programme are fashion workshops to decorate cut-out paper dolls with WORLD designer Denise L’Estrange-Corbet (Thursday 23 September), creating origami fashion (Friday 24 September), and making adornments with exotic materials (Sunday 26 and Tuesday 28 September).
All workshops cost $6 or $5 for Dinomites. Bookings and pre-payment essential, call 09 306 7077 to book.
For a full list of all the kids’ school holiday activities at the Museum visit www.aucklandmuseum.com or call the school holiday info line on 306 7032.
