Issues with Howick Candidate Profiles
The Council has been contacted by a small number of electors from the Howick ward regarding misprints of the Candidate Profile Statements which were sent out with the voting papers in the last week.
While we have had contact from less than 5 people we want to make sure there are not more people affected by the misprint said John Skelton Manukau City's Electoral Officer.
We wish to make sure that everyone has the same information so they can make an informed decision regarding their choices for elected representatives.
So, at this stage we are asking people to check the Candidate Profile Statements they have received with their voting papers. If they find any pages missing they should ring us in the first instance and we will deliver a complete booklet.
We will do everything in our power to make sure all electors in the city have the chance to make an informed choice said Mr Skelton.
Manukau City Council Election team is available on 263 7100.
