Missing aircraft located
Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand can now confirm that a search team has located the wreckage of a Piper Seneca aircraft missing in atrocious weather conditions on Mount Taranaki.
One body was found at the scene but the location and condition of the other crewman is unknown at this stage.
The wreckage was located around 7pm near the northern side of the summit crater.

Police have assumed control of the incident and will attempt
to reach the crash location in the
morning.
