West Coast Development Trust Supports “April Sun” Film Production
The West Coast Development Trust is supporting McBride Brothers Productions in the post production editing phase of their film “April Sun”.
Filmed on the West Coast, April Sun has been in production for the past eighteen months. The West Coast Development Trust has agreed to provide $20,000 towards the final stage of the project.
Once complete, the movie will be forwarded to a range of festivals, including Cannes, with the hope of having it shown on the international stage.
“The potential for the film industry on the West Coast is huge with dramatic scenic, historic and cultural locations, and many Coasters involved on both a professional and amateur basis,” says Development Trust chairman, Frank Dooley.
“We’re pleased to be able to assist what has the potential to become a very active industry in our region.”
