The 21st birthday of the Otago Home Show

Calling all renovators, redecorators, foodies and homestyle connoisseurs for the Otago Home Show 2005.

The 21st birthday of the Otago Home Show is running at the Dunedin Edgar Sports Stadium from 4-6 March 2005, featuring a long weekend of pro - chef demonstrations, home design advice from the experts, the latest homeware, and fun events.

Exclusively arranged for the event are the “Crème de la Crème” Cooking Demonstrations where Dunedin's hottest chefs will be creating their signature dishes live.

This is a great chance to see the behind the scenes magic of Dunedin's favourite dining spots.

The twice daily cooking demonstrations feature chefs from top Dunedin restaurants Bell Pepper Blues, Table Seven, Bacchus Wine Bar, Plato, The French Cafe, and Conservatory Restaurant at Corstorphine House.

Dunedin chef Michael Coughlin of Bell Pepper Blues says he is thrilled to get out of his kitchen and into the field for the home show.

New Zealand Idol host Dominic Bowden will be in the city especially for the show on Saturday helping out the MORE FM team who will be handing out spot prizes.

Homestyle Magazine Home Design Seminars will be held on the hour throughout the weekend and will answer all your questions about home design - from the latest trends in home furniture, glazing, room design, and colour schemes, to making your home loan work for you.

The BBQ Factory Barbecue Cookoff gives you the chance to grill your way to winning one of three BBQ Factory barbecues amongst other great prizes.
