Manukau City Council to consider submissions on Annual Plan
Manukau City Council's Council Plan Committee is to consider 474 submissions on its Annual Plan.
Public submissions closed on Thursday, 12 May following a month-long consultation period with ratepayers and residents.
The Council will review and consider all submissions. However, over 133 submitters have elected to speak to their submissions at the Annual Plan hearings occurring throughout the city next month.
The venues and times will be advertised and members of the public are welcome to attend.
Among the many issues put forward by submitters was the Council's proposal to establish Manukau Water as a Council Controlled Organisation, targeted rates in business areas and rating policies.
The hearing of the submissions will be concluded on 27 May. The Council Plan Committee will consider all the submissions on 15/16 June, following which they will make recommendations to the full Council on 29 June.
