Panmure Wins in 05/06’ Annual Plan
Panmure Wins in 05/06’ Annual Plan
The Tamaki Community Board is delighted that Stage two of the Panmure Mainstreet will be funded within this years Annual Plan.
Tamaki Community Board Deputy Chair Kate Sutton says “The whole board is so happy that this has been moved forward, at one stage we thought that we would have to wait another year for the funding. I believe this Annual Plan win is due to the hard lobbying work of the Panmure Community, the Councillors for the area and the Community board.”
“The funding was voted on by the whole of council and the support from those outside of Panmure was hard won, but definitely worth it.” Sutton continued.
The start of the second stage of the project is yet to be notified. The second stage will finish works on the second half of the Panmure Mainstreet including new street furniture, lighting, planting and footpaths.
