Temporary changes for Queen Street bus stops
Work to make Queen Street the country's number one destination for business, shopping and entertainment will bring temporary changes for bus passengers beginning Wednesday, 4 January 2006.
During work between Mayoral Drive and Wellesley Street, the following bus stops for Manukau Road, Western Bays, Dominion Road and NiteRider services between Mayoral Drive and Wellesley Street will be temporarily relocated.
Manukau Road and Western Bays: The Airedale bus stop moves to outside Real Groovy Records, 438 Queen Street. Affected routes: 302, 304, 305, 305X, 312, 315,31F, 392, 015, 017, 024, 025, 027, 034, 035, 042, 043, 045 Effective: Wednesday, 4 January 2006
Dominion Road: The St James bus stop moves to outside the Auckland University of Technology, Mayoral Drive Affected routes: 250, 253, 255, 256, 258,262, 265, 266, 267, 25F, 26F Effective: Monday, 16 January 2006
NiteRider: The St James bus stop moves to outside the Civic Theatre, corner of Queen and Wellesley streets. Affected routes: N24, N26, N31, N47, N50, N62 Effective: Friday, 20 January 2006 The bus stops will remain at these temporary locations until further notice. Bus departure times will remain the same.
