Motueka Public Forum on Happy Valley/Cypress Mine, Tonight
A Motueka forum on the proposed opencast coalmine in Happy Valley near Westport is happening tonight.
Representatives from Solid Energy, the Save Happy Valley Coalition, Forest & Bird, DOC, the Greens & local MP’s Damien O’Connor [Labour], and Chris Auchinvole [National] have been invited to present their views on the proposed Cypress Mine and it’s environmental, economic, and social impacts.
