Northcote Road on-ramp temporary weekend closure
Transit New Zealand advises motorists that the Northcote Road on-ramp southbound will be temporarily closed to motorists on Saturday 1 April from 8am and until Sunday 2 April at around 6pm.
The closures are required to enable the erection of a second, new power pylon. A 200 tonne crane is being used for the job and establishing this crane will partially obstruct the Northcote Road southbound on-ramp, making it unsafe for public use.
Motorists headed southbound should use Onewa or Esmonde Road on-ramps during the closures.
In the event of bad weather, the works may be postponed.
Transit apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you in advance for your co-operation.
