Submissions on proposed three ward system
28 April 2006
Last days for submissions on proposed three ward system
There are just three days left for people to have their say on the proposed reorganisation of Waitakere City into three wards.
Submissions must be received by the electoral officer no later than 4pm on 3 May.
So far, over 230 submissions have been received.
The deadline was 4pm on April 26, but has been extended due to an error on a map showing the proposed new boundaries.
Residents can make submissions online at www.waitakere.govt.nz; using forms which can be downloaded from the website or obtained from the Civic Centre and Libraries; or in writing and posted to Waitakere City Council, Representation Review, Private Bag 93109, Henderson, Waitakere City.
